Q & A

Do we get to ride the elephants?

No — this is a ride-free, ethical elephant care experience. You’ll feed, walk with, and bathe the elephants instead of riding them.

Your hotel transfer is by private van, but once at the elephant home you’ll join the shared morning program together with other guests.

Fried rice with vegetables is served at the elephant home, along with drinking water in the van.

Yes — please bring a spare swimsuit and change of underwear; see the full packing list in “What to Bring/Wear” above.

The shared morning program can include up to 20 guests in total. Your own booking’s base price covers 2 adults, with the option to add more.

What to bring/wear ?

  • Sandals, or good hiking/walking shoes for the mountain
  • Spare underwear to change after the elephant activity, and a swimsuit for the mud and bath activity
  • Towel
  • Rain jacket in case of rain
  • Bug spray, sunscreen, and a hat
  • A plastic bag or spare bag for your wet clothes

Special Notes

  • Please note: partway to the elephant home, you will change from the van to a pickup truck for the final approach (about 5 minutes). Return to your hotel is expected around 13:30.
  • Timing is approximate and may vary. Gratuity for your driver/guide is optional and at your discretion.
