KhaoYai National Park, situated 200 km northeast of Bangkok, is Thailand’s biggest and most popular national park. Established in 1962, this vast natural preserve is spread over five Thai provinces.
06:30 – Pick up from your hotel in city center
07:40 – Stop at the morning market at Baan Na (time permitting)
08:40 – Short trek to Hew Narok Waterfall in the national park
10:00 – Half-hour drive along the main park road to a scenic overlook
11:00 – On to the elephant village for a 30-minute elephan ride
11:30 – Set lunch at the elephant village
12:45 – Leave the elephant village
13:45 – Stop at local fruit market on the way back to Bangkok to try local fruit
16:00 – Drop back at your hotel
